Reverend Arlene Bates

Rev. Arlene Bates is the pastor of the McKeesport Beacon Light Church of God, located at 1301 Soles Street, McKeesport, PA 15132. The church had its start as a mission in the early seventies, again in 1987 and was established as a church in February, 1988. They celebrated paying off the mortgage and boiler loans together in 2004.

Pastor Bates has served the Lord by serving His souls since being saved over forty years ago, because the Lord placed in her a desire to see others come to know Him. In this call the Lord has placed her in places of learning and serving, and to minister as His Servant in many varied ways to communicate the glorious message of His Saving Grace. Her ministry started with her family – husband and children, parents and siblings and stretched far and wide by God’s Grace. She serves because she loves Him, she loves Him because He first loved her.
